Benefits included for Free
Every time you enter a name in our domain search box, our powerful engine searches the web’s largest pool of names. There’s no better place to do a domain name registration than with Nice Domain.
Make it brandable
Meaning that when you hear or see the domain name, it sounds like a brand. This means that hyphens and numbers are a real problem because they don’t sound like a brand. They sound generic, or strange.
Make it intuitive
A good domain name gives people a strong idea of what a website will be about. Being able to look at a domain name and say, “Oh, they probably do this.
This is probably what that company is up to.” is a big win. We admit that a domain name registration process can be complicated but we have made the process easy and enjoyable.

Complete the following steps with your current registrar:
- Unlock the domain name.
- Get an Authorization Code (also known as EPP code or transfer key)
- Verify administrator’s contact information is correct.
- This is important because emails regarding the transfer process will be sent to the administrator’s email address. (Except for .au domains, where all transfer information is sent to the registrant contact’s email.)
- Cancel Protected Registration or Private Registration if you have it.
- Provide us with the authorization code and we will do the rest. (You can submit your authorization code yourself by login to your customer portal).
No. Even though no one else can take your domain name during the expiration period of 30 days you can’t transfer an expired domain name because you are not technically the owner of the domain. You will have to renew the domain on your current registrar and then request the transfer of the domain.
